Vacation in Hongkong 香港 Day 01 , Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀 & Avenue of Stars 星光大道

Holiday vacation to hongkong on 16 June 2009, this was my first time traveling to Hongkong

with my family.

The flight was about 3 and 30 mins. Arrived in Hongkong around 1445hr took the bus A21 from

the airport to Nathan road. Price for the bus ride is around HKD $33 (S$6.20) per adult. We

booked our hotel at Citadines Hongkong Ashley which was very near Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀

MTR station.




After settling down at the hotel, we start exploring the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀. There

are lot of Cosmetics shop such as Watson, Manning, SaSa & Bonjour.



There is this Famous street food call the 鸡蛋仔 along Granville Road in Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀.

The taste is something like our waffles. This food come in a shape like an egg tray it also come

in a few flavours such as chocolate and red bead. Quite nice too.


After our dinner at Granville Road, we proceed to the Avenue of Stars 星光大道 which is located

along the Victoria Harbour waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀. The Scenery was so beautiful

with the landscaping of the financial hub of Hongkong island.

There are hand prints and autographs of famous hongkong stars on the path way of 星光大道.

Couldn't find Stephen Chow handprints as it might be blocked by some of the push cart around

the area.



This is an area where you won't want a miss if you visit Hongkong the first time.
